A whole lotta preciousness and a little Jack Black!
I did this layout of our sweet Mallory because she loves to be upside down! I don't know why, but if she's on your lap, she's wiggling to lean backward. It's really cute. I know all moms think their children are so precious, but people always comment on what a cute/pretty baby she is. One of my friends really took the cake. The first time she met Mallory she said, "Oh Sarah, she is so cute! She reminds me of my favorite movie actor!" Of course my mind was racing, thinking, Kate Winslet, Audrey Hepburn, Gwyneth Paltrow, etc. Then my friend (who shall remain nameless because I love her so much) said, "Jack Black!" You all know I am not speechless very often, but my jaw hit the floor (literally) I was near tears being 8 weeks postpartem and so hormonal. I said, "What? Jack Black! He's not cute!" And she said, "I mean that as a compliment. He's my favorite actor!" Well, I recovered even thought I was appalled and asked everyone I knew if Mallory looked like Jack Black. Of course when I asked that everyone looked at me like I was crazy. But, in my friend's defense, she did have really dark hair, and big round eyes. I guess I can give it to her. It's now a joke between us, and I know that Mallory is way too precious to be in the same category as Jack Black. He should be so honored.

I think you are right. It was the black hair at first. Now Jack's hair is dyed blonde and it doesn't look at all like Mallory. I promise it was a compliment!!!! Love, Nameless
Oh Nameless! Don't worry! I have gotten past it and can laugh about it now. You're too sweet for me to be offended by! (:
So cute! You are such a talented scrapbooker...I want to become one too! I used to get so into it, but have convinced myself I don't have the time, but if you can find the time with 2, I know I can find it somewhere (maybe less blog surfing...lol)
Anyway, love how you coordinated the page with her outfit from that evening. Thanks again for the baby food...maybe if Jack and Mallory end up dating we can joke she knew the way to his heart was through his stomach :)
I love the page! Very cute, but then so is Mallory! The "Jack Black" story is one of my favorites, I laugh everytime I think about it.
Now, Laura, as for finding time to scrapbook....as if I'm one to talk....just quit cooking & cleaning!
Love, Kim
LOL that's too funny! Love the layout.
That is such a great page!! I'm so glad you posted your blog on the pod. I was missing out. You are such a great scrapbooker!
What a cute story! And that layout (and your dd) is ADORABLE!
Thanks for coming by my blog. I love yours! Your previous post is cute too. My kids did a week of VBS last week and had a great time. The week before they were at Hume Lake Christian Camp and had an awesome time.
Hope Mallory has a great 1 yr b-day tomorrow!!
Blessings
XOXOXO
